PS - Alan Messer shot the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Eric Burden & the Animals, the Dave Clark Five, and many others ... we became good friends in Nashville, and Alan took this shot of me one weekend while we were hanging out together- at his studio on South Broad Street. The coolest thing was when Kenny Rogers (a good friend of Alan's) came to use his studio to shoot a bunch of Country Superstars (Kenny loves photography, in case you didn't know) ... and not only did I get to hang out with Kenny for a couple of days (I could tell you a very funny story ... but then you'd have to be shot ... so unless we meet personally, it'll have to remain a secret) but I also enjoyed meeting *everyone* from the Country Music Hall of Fame: The Judds (I wound up hanging out with Wynona a few times ... there's a picture of me standing on her fence, by her horse barn - see site photos), all the guys in Alabama, and a whole mess of old-timers wearing the most elaborate cowboy hats and suits I ever saw in my life!
