1995 Washburn - front 1995 Washburn - back

This was my 1995 Washburn, Acoustic-Electric, Cutaway, 6-string guitar. I sold it to Mike Olson, out in San Francisco, March 2001 - here's what he said when he got it: "Wow you were right the photos did not do enough justice to that finish..its gorgeous. Got it on Friday and played it all weekend. Them elixirs are nice...don't get the same oxidization issues...great case too."

I bought the Washburn, brandy new, from Rondo Music in Union, New Jersey - August 7th, 1995 ... mostly in the interest of playing club gigs, and having a guitar to "kick around" with ... but it turned out to be much more than the "beater" I had originally thought it would be -- it's developed quite a character and plays surprisingly well for a production model guitar. Later, in 2000, I signed an endorsement with Washburn Guitars and obtained my Oscar Schmidt Autoharp.
